part of an ongoing series of works based on the appalachian sound archives in berea, kentucky. this is a web-based ‘collection of a collection’––twenty-four sound excerpts of overlooked and hidden tunes, noise, and conversation that appealed to me as a listener. these are combined with images from the appalachian photo archive, along with text from my own notes while listening. again, much thanks goes to berea college for their ongoing support.
