inspired by the experimental films of stan brakhage. the process of making each piece included recording several lines of solo piano, and then layering them on top of one another. this made a type of music that allows many kinds of uncommon coincidences and combinations to occur. also, brakhage’s use of the “colors of everyday life” has inspired several other later pieces that use both instruments and field recordings (total time: 60:40).
